DS-1.5mm is good for transmitting high intense focused ultrasound to the epidermis tissue in depth of 1.5mm under skin, activating the skin epidermis of thinner tissue.
Treatment area: forehead area.
DS-3.0mm is is good for transmitting high intense focused ultrasound into the dermis tissue in depth of 3.0mm under skin activating the skin dermal layer collagen,shrinks large pores and reduces surface wrinkles.
Treatment area: chin,chest.
DS-4.5mm is is good for transmitting high intense focused ultrasound into skin subcutaneous tissue in depth of 4.5mm under skin, which is the SMAS layer.
Treatment area: thick skin,like cheeks,neck,etc.
DS4 -8.0mm/11mm/13.0mm is is good for transmitting high intense focused ultrasound to activate tissue in the depth of 13mm/8.0mm under skin.
Targeting to thicker skin, for example thighs, bottom.
Working Principle
High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) uses high-intensity focused ultrasound waves. These waves, bypass surface of skin, are precisely focused on specific layers under skin. The device emits ultrasound energy that can penetrate deep into the skin but not causing any damage to the skin surface.
When the focused ultrasound waves reach the targeted layers under skin, such as the deep dermis or the SMAS (superficial musculoaponeurotic system), they generate heat there.
The heat-induced thermal effect stimulates the fibroblasts in the skin which are responsible for producing collagen. Activated fibroblasts start to produce new collagen and elastin which leads to an increase in the amount of collagen in the skin, which makes the skin tighter and more elastic.
The heat also causes immediate contraction of the existing collagen fibers. This contraction provides an immediate visible tightening effect on the skin.
Long-Term Improvement. Over time, as the new collagen continues to be produced and organized, the skin's firmness and elasticity are further enhanced which results in a long-term lifting and rejuvenating effect on the face and other treated areas.
